UPDATE: Man Struck by Car in Grand Rapids in Fair Condition

A 25-year-old man hit by a car Friday afternoon in Grand Rapids is now listed in fair condition and is expected to undergo surgery Monday, according the Grand Rapids Police Department.

The incident is still under investigation and no other details are being released at this time.

A 25-year-old man is in the hospital after a car hit him.

The Grand Rapids Police Department says they got a call just before 5 p.m. Friday on a report that a car hit the man on Co. Hwy. W near 56th St. South, about 3 miles southeast of Wisconsin Rapids.

The victim was airlifted to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. His condition is not known at this time.

The Wood County dispatch center tells Newschannel 7 more information is expected to be released Saturday.
