Big Ten Title Game Organizers Expect Empty Seats

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Local organizers and Big Ten officials say tickets are still available the conference title game Saturday night and it is unlikely to be sold out.
The teams playing for the conference crown, Wisconsin and No. 14 Nebraska, usually have strong traveling contingents. But neither sold its entire allotment of 15,000 tickets. In addition, local organizers say, tickets available to the general public did not sell as quickly as they did for last year's inaugural Big Ten championship game.
As a result, thousands of tickets have not yet been sold.
Cornhuskers coach Bo Pelini says he expects Nebraska fans to make a strong showing at ticket windows Saturday, and Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema says he still anticipates the atmosphere to be festive.
