Big Brothers Big Sisters of northcentral Wisconsin is hosting Big Taste, one of Wausau’s premier fundraisers on Saturday, September, 22. Tickets are still available.
Participating restaurants, caterers and hand crafted beverage vendors will be represented at the event with a decorated booth serving wonderful dishes and beverages.
Participating restaurants and caterers will serve a “taste” of their signature dishes in four categories: appetizers, soups and salads, entrees and deserts.
There also will be an event within the event. Chef Dan Loomis, Owner and Chef of Hoffman House and Chef Elizabeth Hinner, Chef at Red Eye will go head-to-head in an “iron chef” type competition.
Attendees at the semi formal event will enjoy the opportunity to purchase raffle items, bid on silent auction items and vote for their favorite dishes.
