The Big Green Derby is back for another year. The second annual event will be on June 8th this year starting at 11am. While the event is a few months away, if you want to take part, you need to get a team together and sign up now.
In order to compete, your team will have to make a boat out of recycled materials and then race them from the landing bay down to the sand bar at Oak Island.
Signing up before April 1st will cost you $125 per team.
Signing up after April 1st will cost you $150 per team.
Non-profit youth organizations can sign up for free.
