Bicyclist in fatal Madison collision identified

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A bicyclist killed in a collision with a tow truck in Dane County has been identified as a 47-year-old Madison man.

The medical examiner's office released a statement Saturday saying the victim was Stephen L. Rader.

Rader was riding his bicycle Friday afternoon when he was hit by a tow truck. He was taken to a hospital, where he was eventually pronounced dead.

Police Sgt. Jason Ostrenga tells the Wisconsin State Journal the tow-truck driver was cooperating with investigators. No arrests had been made as of Friday.
