A benefit memorial will be held Saturday for a Merrill woman who died during a car accident in June.
Jessica Hartwig, 33, left behind two young children, now the community is rallying together for the “Jessica's Love” fundraiser. Money raised will be put into a trust fund at Lincoln Community Bank for her children.
The event starts at 4:30 pm at Kathy and Cal's Club 64 in Merrill and will go until midnight. Two bands will perform and raffles for dozens of items will continue through the night.
Tickets will be sold for $20 and advance tickets are available at the venue and Millers Furniture. There is no charge for children under 12. The ticket includes dinner, beer and soda. Dinner is at 6 pm.
Kathy and Cal's Club 64 is located at 2405 W Main Street in Merrill.
