Online Auction Benefiting Family of Fallen Firefighter Begins

An online auction is now underway to help raise money for the family of firefighter who died this year in the line of duty.

Jamison Kampmeyer was fatally injured while fighting a fire in Abbotsford on March 4, 2012.

The online auction is sponsored by the Marathon County Deputy Sheriff's Benevolent Association and features sports memorabilia such as an authentic Green Bay Packer helmet autographed by Aaron Rodgers, a jersey and pants autographed by 15-time motocross/supercross champion Ricky Carmichael, sheet metal from and NASCAR cars autographed by the drivers.

Bidding ends December 16 at 8 pm.

All proceeds from this auction will go to Jamison’s wife and children.
