Typically lines this long aren't seen till mid-July, but for ice cream eager patrons in Stevens Point the opening of Belts' for the season couldn't come soon enough.
The ice shop didn't open till 11 a.m. but that didn't stop dozens from camping out at their location on Division Street.
The first 40 customers received a free T-shirt.
Belts' has been a local favorite since 1981.
