Bad Weather Makes for Good Sales at Dry Cleaners

The winter weather is not only attracting big business to places like hardware stores running low on shovels and roof rakes,
but also to local dry cleaners too.

Personal Touch Dry Cleaners in Wausau say that with all of the salt and snow on the roadway, peoples clothes are getting dirty pretty quick.

That means they are making more trips to get those spots and stains wiped away.

"We get a lot of winter coats, comforters and woll sweaters. It really does actually increase in the wintertime. " says employee Melanie Jablonski

Personal Touch Cleaners also has a car wash attached to it.
They say that, not surprisingly, business is also up in the days following big storms.
