Bad Weather Leads to Dozens of Car Accidents

It's been a busy Friday night for law enforcement responding to dozens of accidents.

The roads got very slippery after today's snow.
Deputies and witnesses tell Newschannel 7 that traffic was tied up for quite a while on Highway 51 northbound in the Brokaw area.

Several vehicles went in the ditch farther south on I-39 in Kronenwetter.
One ended up upside down.

Fortunately, no major injuries were reported in any of the wrecks.
Deputies say black ice and drivers not slowing down in bad weather are to blame.
