Dozens of Home, Car Windows in Wausau Shot Out by BB Gun

More than 20 reports of damage by BB gun shots have been reported in the Wausau area, all in the past two days.

Police say a 39-year-old man is in custody, suspected of shooting more than 20 car and home windows over the past two days. Tuesday night, police Wausau Police responded to a home on the 200 block of South 10th Street for a similar damage report. Officers spoke with three people who were at the home about the incident, and arrested a 39-year-old man for criminal damage to a vehicle and resisting an officer.

A few homeowners hear shots around 8 Tuesday night, but did not notice the damage until Wednesday morning.

There does not seem to be any pattern to the shootings and no one was injured. Stay with NewsChannel 7 for any updates.
