A Minnesota city attorney will decide whether to charge a teen for an April Fools' prank that prompted a response from the fire department.

According to WCCO-TV, the teen texted his mom to say the kitchen was on fire and he was evacuating. The woman, who was not home, call the fire department before the teen could reply it was a joke.

Some of the first responders were already at the scene before the hoax was made clear.
