The renovations to the home of the Wisconsin Woodchucks are one step closer to completion.
The first seat was installed Monday, making the entire project at Athletic Park three-fourths of the way complete. There is also new windows in the front of the stadium.
Construction crews are hoping for warmer weather to move ahead with painting to complete the new stadium interior.
The Wisconsin woodchucks general manager tells us that he thinks fans will be pleasantly surprised.
"The whole project was build around the fans and giving them a better experience. We didn't add seating. We are not raising our price. We just want them to feel more comfortable,” explains General Manager Ryan Treu.
The first pitch of the season will be against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters on May 30th.
