Five men arrested Tuesday night during a raid at a house at 245 Chellis St. in Wausau were charged Thursday. Four remain in custody on cash bonds. One remains in custody on a probation hold. When officers arrived on scene the suspects started to flee out the windows and doors of the residence.
Police arrested Justin Erickson, 33, of Rhinelander; Jake Jones, 23, of Mosinee; Daryl Stalsberg, 47, of Wausau; Aaron Templeton, 39, of Mosinee, and Joshua Michelson, 29 of Weston.
Stalsberg faces the most significant charges as the home owner. Judge Michael Moran set his bond at $5,000 cash.
Police said nearly $10,000 worth of drugs were seized from the home. That number includes $7,000 in meth, $2,500 worth of heroin, and small amounts of THC, pills and mushrooms.
The arrests were result of a joint effort between the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, Wausau Police Department and Everest Metro Police Department.
