Just so you don't get caught unprepared, tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. But plenty of people have been ready for weeks.
Whether you are celebrating Valentines Day tomorrow or not, chances are you will come across someone who is. Workers at some businesses have prepared for weeks, taking orders and making sure they have all the flowers, chocolates and jewelry ready.
Owner of Evolutions in Design Flower Shop in Wausau, Randy Verhasselt says, Valentine’s Day is one of his stores busiest days of the year. That means all of the employees are in, working to satisfy each customer. “On an average day we probably do 30-40 deliveries, tomorrow we'll do probably over 400 or so trying to make sure all the flowers come in at a timely manner and we get time to make them and process them and get them out the door and their on time is always kind of orchestrational."
Florists are not the only ones who see a rush on valentines. Sweets on 3rd Street in Wausau, and Wickersham Jewelers in Rothschild also see a surge in business in the days leading up to Valentine's.
Whether you have gotten your loved one a gift for Valentines yet or not, business owners say they'll be open tonight and through tomorrow, to make sure their customers are all served.
