A Rib Mountain family will remember and honor their daughter this weekend at a memorial fundraiser to help disadvantaged children.
Emily's Path was started by Dale and Jennifer Eaton to help bring to joy to children, like the joy they say their daughter, Emily brought to them.
Sadly, Emily died in June of 2009 from complications of the H1N1 Virus. She was just 12-year-old.
Emily's Path helps fund surgeries, trips, and even toys to help bring children happiness. The memorial benefit will be held at Piggy's Pub, formerly called Shang Garden, from 11 a.m. to close on Saturday, August 18. A balloon release will be held at 4 p.m.
Cost is just a $3.00 donation to Emily's Path for children 12 and older, and adults.
