Apparent Investigation Underway at Clintonville Manufacturer

The Defense Criminal Investigative Service, which is a law enforcement arm within the Department of Defense was at Schutt Industries in Clintonville Tuesday morning.

Several workers told WLUK-TV, they were told to go home for the day but expect to return to work Wednesday. The company has declined WLUK's request for a comment and the reason for the apparent investigation is unknown.

Local and state officials say they are not involved in the investigation.

Schutt Industries produces high performance military trailers and custom engineered ground systems.
