Antigo Elementary Principal Placed on Administrative Leave

The Unified School District of Antigo has issued a letter to parents stating, John Lund, the principal of West and Pleasant View Elementary has been placed on paid administrative leave.

Cindy Fischer, who has been principal at Mattoon Elementary for the last five years will assume Mr. Lund’s duties.

The district has not cited a reason for the administrative leave.

John Lund is also the Antigo High School football coach.

I lived there for a decade and saw the corruption first hand. The crooked cops planted so called evidence to arrest me and tried to put a felony on me as well. Does it really surprise all of you. There was a coke head judge and a pot farming doctor that both gotta slap on the wrist. Thats probably what will happen in this case. I'm glad i got the hell outta there. If any of you left there are smart you will too. Good riddens. I hope the corrupt people get what they deserve.

Pathetic. You know what happens in Antigo? the police take drugs away from citizens and use them all to themselves, oh yeah and they also sleep with girls if they want out of a traffic violation. why not ask Just? hahahahahaha

I also graduated from that useless town. Most of the smart people who could left. Its totally a "good old boys" town. If your parents weren't part of the boys club or worse if they weren't in agreement with them you were treated very unfairly in school. Not sure who is more corrupt the business owners or the police department. I hope they all get thrown in jail and the feds throw away the key! Its about time all you jerks go down. Ha ha ha ha. This seems to be kept very hushed up. I cannot believe more information hasn't been released yet. This is going to be a interesting story to be played out. If all the rumors are true.

Antigo has been nothing but a Diggs Town for the last 20 years. Corrupted police and officials. The good old boy system went to die in Antigo and flourished for decades. I hope these pukes get what they have coming. I find it funny the paper barely reports on such a huge event in a City that size. If you ask me they should be investigated as well.

It's time we get some answers from the Antigo School District. He is getting paid and is on admin leave. He is getting paid from taxes that I pay. If he is guilty of a crime, I can only hope he pays back every dime.

Wow, a drug bust in my hometown! I'm absolutely amazed. I graduated from AHS back in the mid 70's and we had drugs waaaay back then. Heck if I was a principal in Antigo, I'd probably need something to take the edge off, too.

The teachers always claim it's for the children. Were the drugs for the children also. I have a brother who teaches in the antigo elementary school district and he always said how good this principal was. Im certain he has been fooled in to thinking this is a good guy just like he has been fooled out his union. WEAC will surely save him.

It's a good thing the feds are getting involved so that the "good ol boys club" can't keep sweeping the corruption under the rug like they have been for years. It's about time the rich folk in Antigo get what they've got coming, it's always the kids that don't come from rich families that end up getting screwed over when people get busted with drugs, not the rich kids. I hope the feds bury them. I feel sorry for the families, at least the ones that honestly didn't know. But if you were the ones that knew and did nothing to stop it, your just as guilty. You are all supposed to be prominent roles models in the community. HAH! Enjoy federal prison scum.
