We're just a couple of days away from the WIAA State Boys Basketball Tournament, where Amherst will make their first trip to Madison since 1998.
The Falcons headed west on Highway 10 Tuesday to practice at UWSP, trying to get a better feel of what playing on a college floor would be like since the state games are played at the Kohl Center.
One difference the college court has is definitely helping Amherst stay well conditioned.
The Falcons will face Auburndale on Thursday at 6:35. We'll have a preview of this game and hear from both sides on Wednesday.
