After a post-game fight resulting in charges last month at the Packers -Vikings game, the Packers are taking extra steps to keep fans safe this Saturday night.
According to WLUK-TV, alcohol sales will be cut off at the beginning of the third quarter. Normally, alcohol is sold through the end of the third quarter. Team officials also promise police and security workers will be extra vigilant during the game.
“Night games previously have presented us with more challenges than normal with regard to inappropriate behavior,” says Doug Collins, the Packers’ director of corporate security and risk management, in a news release.
