MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The U.S. Marshals Service in Milwaukee has arrested a man suspected of carjacking a vehicle in Illinois and causing a collision that killed an 11-year-old boy.
Agency spokesman Ed Farrell says the 34-year-old suspect was arrested Tuesday. Farrell says agents got word that he was in Milwaukee, and they spotted the stolen vehicle waiting in a restaurant's drive-through lane.
Farrell says agents boxed him in and arrested him without incident.
The Associated Press is not naming the man, who's from Beach Park, Ill., because it's not clear whether he's been formally charged.
Authorities say the man stole a van at gunpoint Saturday in Chicago. Officers gave chase, and the man's van collided with another vehicle. Donovan Turnage, a Chicago fifth grader on his way to get a Christmas haircut, was killed.
