All lanes of I-94 eastbound are back open after an early morning accident near Tomah in Monroe County.

The call came in at 8:19 Sunday morning. Two semi-trailers were traveling eastbound on I-94 when one semi hit the back of the other semi. The crash caused a fire in the trailer of the semi that was struck.

The driver of the semi that struck the other semi, 39-year old Steven Flynn, was transported to Tomah Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the other semi, 54-year old Frank Uzebor, was not injured.

The right lane of the interstate was closed for several hours while emergency crews worked on separating the two semi trailers and cleaning up the scene.
