A garage fire in Wausau is under investigation.
The call came in just before 6:30 p.m. on Monday. One of the people renting the home on South Second Ave. reported the garage fire after hearing a boom sound from inside the home and then seeing flames.
Fire crews say the garage is a total loss, as well as the car that was inside and a truck that was parked just outside of it.
No one was injured.
