In this weeks "A Better You," you probably don't look twice while at the gym, but did you know there are different types of ellipticals?
Club director James Klier at Anytime Fitness in Weston explains how to get the most out of your workout.
He says it starts with putting in the correct information on the machine as far as your weight and age. This way, it will calculate your caloric burn and heart rate properly.
Then, focus on your form. Stand up straight with your shoulders back. It's important to remember not to slouch.
James says ellipticals are a great piece of equipment for people who have trouble in their joints compared to a treadmill.
He also adds don't be afraid to go backwards to add a little variety to your routine.
