When you're stuck in a work out groove, or are too busy running around with the kids to even have one, don't worry, there's some easy things that you can do at home or in the gym to help put that pep back in your step.
In this week's "A Better You," Anytime Fitness shows us how to challenge yourself simply.
Advice from Anytime Fitness of Wausau Trainer Amy Radloff:
This week look at your workout or daily activity and challenge yourself.
Add variety to it and do something different. For example, if you typically walk on the treadmill, start putting it on an incline or start jogging for a minute or two during your walk.
If you walk outside, take a different route that offers more hills or mix some lunges in with it.
Use this week to look at your daily activity and change it to give yourself that little challenge. Once you see how you accomplished those challenges, you will be motivated and confident for the following weeks and start seeing and feeling positive changes.
