On their wedding day, brides want everything to be perfect. Sometimes they go to extreme measures to make it happen.
Now, one product that may or may not really exist is generating a lot of buzz in the wedding industry: bridal diapers. "Apparently they are on the internet although I have a hard time imaging if somebody would wear them," says Greta Wood of Elegant Occasions and Wedding Center.
Type in bridal diapers in Google and you get 8 million hits. Here's the concept: on a bride's biggest day of her life and in the gown of her dreams, she may not want to miss a single moment. Even to use the restroom.
That's because many bridal gowns pose a challenge for ladies having to use the bathroom. Once you're wrapped up in tulle, taffeta and chiffon, you may need a little help.
"It's rather form fitting up top and then it flows down in ruffles on the bottom. And it's probably not going to be the easiest to slide up and down when need be. But I still would not consider a diaper," says bride Jennifer Green.
On some blogs, bridal diapers appear to be fancied up with things like lace trimming. But we weren't able to find a single site where they're sold. And so far, it's not catching on locally.
