Monday's storm hit the Town of Maine with a nasty punch. Many homes had their roofs ripped off and the debris is now scattered everyone.
In a neighborhood just off Highway K, one family was just getting ready to each dinner when the storm struck. They were headed into the basement with a pizza, and before they reached the bottom of the stairs, they could hear the cupboards shake and the roof rip off.
The garage was also ripped apart. The car was covered in twisted metal and bikes that were hanging in the garage were found more than 100 yards away in a cornfield.
Families picking up the pieces are just grateful nobody was hurt.
