As the WWII veterans from Northcentral Wisconsin came home from their Honor Flight to D.C. tuesday, they already enough memories to fill a battleship. Little did they know, they were about get some more.
Never Forgotten organizers had family, friends and school children write the vets letters thanking them for their service.
The guardians, the people who took care of the vets on the trip, handed out the envelopes packed with the notes on the flight home.
Some chose to read them right away, others chose to take them home.
