If you're one of the thousands of people who will be traveling to the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in Kohler this week, you're being asked to follow a "traffic plan" created by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The plan calls for four color-coded routes into and out of the PGA Championship.
Directions to PGA parking from Northcentral Wisconsin (and from Green Bay/Minneapolis/Eau Claire) are the "Green Route".
GREEN ROUTE (from WisDOT website): Proceed south on I-43 to Cleveland Exit 137, County Road XX. At the top of the ramp turn left (east) on County Road XX. Proceed to Dairyland Drive; turn right (south). Proceed to County Road MM; turn left (east). Proceed to County Road LS; turn right (south). Law enforcement will direct traffic to PGA general public parking lots.
