Three people were taken to the hospital after four vehicles were involved in an accident on Grand Avenue in front of NewsChannel 7 about 1:20 this afternoon.
According to police, a vehicle was turning into NewsChannel 7 when it was rear-ended by a vehicle which then swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a truck. Another vehicle then struck the vehicle turning into the Station.
3 people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, although the severity of their injuries is unknown. Another person involved also later went to the hospital with a back injury.
Two people have been cited in that crash, one for inattentive driving, and one for failure to wear a safety belt.
Southbound traffic on Grand Avenue was detoured while debris was removed from the road.
