The 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb honors all men, no matter fallen or still standing. These firefighters, police men and women, and participants come from all over to climb 110 stories.
In honor and to remember those who lost their lives on that day.
Aaron Blum, Easton firefighter said, “Its really emotional for the first probably five, six, seven stories, but after that its more endurance and hard work that comes.”
Hundreds of people geared up to climb the Corporate Cove Tower. Making the entire grueling trip of 12.2 times which is the same distance emergency crews made on 9-11.
Organizers want to continue the event every year. All participants wore a necklace with a firefighter on it that paid the ultimate sacrifice.
