The South Wood County Humane Society is teasing everyone’s tasted buds this weekend for their annual Souper Snow Sculpture Spectacular.
The 8th annual event raises money for the shelter with an all day bake sale, raffles, and live entertainment. They’ll also have all the pets there that are looking for adoption.
Organizers say they’re caring for more animals this year than ever before, and this is one way to answer the needs of the humane society.
Keith Wilkes, President of the human society said, “We need many things for our animals, but the biggest needs are for families to adopt the animals that we have. We have so many cats and we need good families to adopt these amazing animals.”
The event also boasts an ice sculpting event which starts on Saturday at 9 in the morning. If you would like to register or if your interested in volunteering contact the South Wood County Humane Society or head on over to the big event this weekend.
