Helping kids be kids and just have some fun was the goal of Saturday’s National Kids Day.
The Wausau Boys and Girls Club helped kids in central Wisconsin celebrate the day with a number of activities, some of which included Frisbee, bubble blowing and water balloon games.
"So they want kids to have a day to celebrate and to just really be a kid and to remember that it's fun to be a kid and there are some positive things that they can do with adults," said Kimberly Galetka, Boys and Girls Club.
Galetka says about 125 ids and their parents turned up, making this heir most successful Kids Day celebration yet.
