Services for a well known Wausau area educator are set for Saturday.
The former director of North Central Technical College, Lawrence Hoyt died Monday.
He started at NTC as a drafting instructor when it was still called the Wausau Vocational School in 1934. Hoyt was named director of the school in 1951 and was President Emeritus when he retired in 1977.
Hoyt was instrumental in getting the school built at its current location.
He was 92.
