A Mosinee man accused of killing his wife and daughter in a drunk driving accident says he's not guilty.

He made an appearance in Marathon County Court today.

He's charged with reckless homicide and OWI.

Today, Ploman waved his preliminary hearing, and asked that the interlock device be removed from his vehicle.

A judge denied that request, but did lower Ploman's cash bond.

Back in October, prosecutors say he had been drinking at a friend's house and lost control of his SUV on I-39 near Mosinee, killing his wife Jennifer and their daughter Erin.

His next court appearance is set for April 26th.

I'm still bitter after all this time--this man was my boss at one time @ the bus barn. He preached about not drinking & driving to us because as school bus drivers we were responsible for transporting mega children daily & getting them home safe. Then what does he do? He drinks & drives, kills his wife & daughter and calls himself not guilty??? He's not only guilty as sin but also totally a hypocrite!! Lock him up & take away the key!! His son will be just fine being raised by family members!!

Ok....I was EErin's good friend and you can't say that about Travis. Yes I blieve he is gulity but should not go to court. By my looks none of you have met him. Think of this... you kill your wife/husband and child. How would you feel? What would you do? Would you wanna go to jail? Now think of Travis. He is feeling 10x worse than you guys can veer imagine. They were great peoplpe and will be mised. The true people that know Jen and Erin will agree with me. Sure you can comment back and say I'm wrong but ik that Travis as suffered enough. AND THINK OF JORDAN! What will Jordan do with his life if his dady is not there? At such a young age he will have to live his whole life like this.

How can you plead not guilty when your decisions take other peoples lives. God may forgive but he has to answer to society for his actions. maybe god had a way to show him the errors of his ways. this all happened for a reason and the reason is clearly shown. I don't wish this upon any one but it happens and there is a price to pay, both spiritually and to the people of your community. The decision made has consequences. I personally will not drink when my girlfriend and , or her daughter is in the car. Just making the better choice. I know that if anything happened I would not like to think alcohol had anything to do with it. Now I might think a little different than other people but it seems the better choice. according to society he must pay, and I agreee.
