Marshfield Police are offering a reward for any information about an armed robbery that took place Monday.

According to a press release, it happened on Monday, March 17th 2008, at about 2:40 at the Walgreens Pharmacy located on North Central Avenue.

Authorities say a white male displayed a handgun to employees demanding Oxycontin and Oxycodone.

The suspect did get away with a large quantity of those drugs.

He then fled in a stolen blue and silver pick-up truck.

That truck was later recovered within blocks of the robbery.

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest of the people involved.

If you have any information, call the Marshfield Police Department at 715-384-0813 or call Wood County Crime Stoppers at 877-325-7867, or text '274637' with a text message beginning with the word 'WCCS."

While I do appreciate the fact that you are reporting on a story that needs to be affected, your title makes it seem like it took place this LAST Monday, where it actually took place two years ago, on the 17th. I would probably chang that.
