Sneak Peek: WI Valley Lutheran H.S.

The new Wisconsin Valley Lutheran High School held the first of three info sessions Tuesday evening.

Students and their parents learned about classes and activities, and took a tour of the new building, still under construction.

The school hopes to enroll 20 to 30 students in its first year. It will house only freshmen and sophomores for the first year, but will add a junior and senior class over the next two years.

"I think as we get established, as people see that the building is built, there'll be more interest," says Jim Rawlings, administrator of WI Valley Lutheran.

The school will hold two more info sessions on Monday, July 26 and Wednesday, July 28. The sessions run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the school's offices at 562 Maple Ridge Road in Mosinee.

WI Valley Lutheran will be "Home of the Wolves" and its school colors are black and silver.
