Fish in Rhinelander may want to pack up their gills and swim off, or else they could be in trouble.
The World Ice Fishing Championship officially kicks off there tomorrow.
Angler were given their last chance to test the waters on Boom Lake today.
But this close to the competition, most teams are not thinking about the fish.
"We caught during the pre-fishing a lot of fish, today was a little slow, but we didn't pay a lot of attention to the fish. It was going around seeing how the other teams are doing, and the other teams did that as well, the last day before the tournament, it isn't about the fish ... tactics," says Greg Wilcynski, coach of Team USA.
The official competition zone has been closed off since Sunday to make sure each team is given an equal fishing opportunity.
Competitors are not allowed to use electronics like powered ice augers, cameras, and even GPS.
