Garage Destroyed, House Damaged by Fire in Lincoln County
A Merrill couple garage on Basel Lane is destroyed by an overnight fire. The house to which it's attached was also badly damaged, but two people and their pets managed to escape unharmed.

A rural Merrill family has some cleaning up and rebuilding ahead of them.
Their garage on Basel Lane was destroyed and their home was badly damaged by an overnight fire.
The Town of Russell Fire Chief tells us the home owner heard some crackling, looked out and saw flames coming from garage just before 11 p.m. Tuesday.
It's a total loss and the attached home has smoke damage
Two people home at the time and their two pets managed to escape, unharmed.
There is no word on a cause.
