A day before Independence Day John Kerry is in Independence, Wisconsin talking to farmers.
Kerry took questions from a crowd of about 100 invited people on issues like trade and agriculture policy.
He's traveling through the Midwest this holiday weekend to focus on rural issues.
Kerry says he wants to establish a system of price supports for dairy farmers.
