Early Wednesday morning, three-year-old William Scott Hoffman was reported missing. Police immediately called for an Amber Alert.
Descriptions of the child, the suspect and the suspect's vehicle were released to the media. Officers say Hoffman and the suspect were found shortly before 6 a.m. north of Portage.
Two residents heard the Amber Alert and reported seeing his car. Police say the boy is okay and back with his parents.
The suspect has been taken into custody.
