The Antigo man accused of giving a 31-year-old a fatal dose of heroin is pleading guilty.
Kevin Krugel entered the plea today in Lincoln County Court.
He's accused of trying to provide Nicole Hedges with a deadly dose of heroin before she was found dead inside a Merrill area shelter last May.
If convicted, he could spend nearly 60 years behind bars.
Police say their investigation shows Krugel and Hedges were acquaintances.
Both had sought drug treatment at a Marshfield Clinic, and were discharged the same day.
