All that's left Sunday is a pile of smoldering ashes for investigators to sift through.
The Modern Builders and Supply Company on the corner of 38th and Stewart in Wausau was destroyed by fire Saturday night.
Sunday, investigators were back on the scene, but have not yet determined a cause for the fire.
Utility workers continued their work on the power lines which were, at times Saturday night, in the middle of the flames.
The fire broke out after 7 p.m. Saturday night. Witnesses say they heard explosions coming from the building that contained lumber, varnish and spray paint cans.
Due to the heavy smoke and flames, police closed off portions of Stewart Avenue. Nobody was hurt.
