Power is back on for nearly 2,000 Wausau residents who went without it for more than two hours Sunday.
According to Wisconsin Public Service, around 8:30 Sunday morning, a two-car accident at the corner of Wausau and Third Avenues knocked over a power line.
That wiped out electricity for 1,900 customers.
The power outage also affected parts of downtown Wausau and shut down a number of traffic lights.
Wisconsin Public Service workers managed to get power back on shortly after 10:30. Police say no one was injured in the accident.
