Community Health Care Hospital and clinics will now be called Aspirus. Attached to the new name is a new logo, "Passion for Excellence, Compassion for People."
The name change has been in the works for a couple of years and hospital officials say Aspirus truly identifies North Central Wisconsin.
"The term Aspirus we felt was most fitting and was selected because of its two key components, "aspire" and "us", says Paul Spaude, Aspirus Chief Administrative Officer.
Residents will begin to see the changes by August at CHC's 27 health care facilities and in North Central Wisconsin.
