Democrat Steve Senski of Plover is running for the 24th District Senate Seat. It's currently held by Senator Julie Lassa.
The position represents parts of Wood, Portage, Adams, and Waushara Counties. Senski says some of his goals include improving health care and keeping concealed weapons illegal in the Wisconsin.
"I'm going to step forward, I'm going to be your representative strong voice and defender in Madison, that's what people can expect from Steve Senski," Senski says.
Lassa was elected in a special election last summer and plans to run again for a full term.
