A recent study by the Dane County Sheriff's Department show that the number of sexual predators on the Internet increases during the summer months.
Many parents think their kids are safe when they're at home, but logging on can be filled with danger.
"The parents need to try to learn more about accessibility. I think our children are overwhelmed with availability of information," says Sheriff Tom Koth, Lincoln County.
Reports show that one in five children is sexually solicited online. There are ways to protect them. Officials say to keep them completely safe, monitor their computer use at all times.
