It happened just after 2:00 Monday afternoon in the Town of New Hope, near Nelsonville.

Investigators say the woman was driving on Trout Creek Road, east of County Road A when she lost control, went into the ditch and hit a tree.

She flown to an area hospital with unknown injuries. A 3-year-old child was in the vehicle, but was not hurt.

This is my niece Melissa, the child is 4yrs. old and was her niece Emma, who has some cuts on her fingers, but otherwise is just fine. Emma is afraid to drive on ice or snow which in time she will get over in time. But she went through alot seeing her Aunt out cold bleeding after slipping off the road and being alone in the cold with the car on it's side has to be alot for her to handle. Thank God she has Ashley as her Mom she will help Emma with whatever she needs. My heart goes out to this brave little girl.
