1 Car, 3 Snowmobile Crash in Oneida County
On Friday at about 1 a.m. authorities were notified of a crash involving one vehicle and three snowmobiles on Highway 8 East, just west of Haymeadow Road in the Town of Pelican.

On Friday at about 1 a.m. authorities were notified of a crash involving one vehicle and three snowmobiles in the Town of Pelican.
Oneida County Sheriff's Department determined six vehicles were traveling east on the westbound shoulder of the highway.
Three of the snowmobiles collided on the highway.
A 41-year old male was taken to St. Mary's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The operator of the car, a 76-year old male was airlifted to Marshfield for his injuries.
The operator of the second snowmobile, a 48-year old male, the third snowmobile, a 47-year old female and 49-year old passenger were transported to St. Mary's Hospital.
The name of the victim will not be released until relatives are notified.
The Oneida County Sheriff's Department, DNR and Medical Examiner are continuing the accident investigation.
