8 Years in Prison for Cocaine Dealer

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Madison man who authorities say sold in excess of $1 million in cocaine has been sentenced to more than 8 years in prison.

Rodolfo Juarez-Gonzalez pleaded guilty in January to distributing more than 500 grams of cocaine. But, the U.S. Department of Justice says evidence shows the amount of cocaine involved was much more than that.

The State Journal says a drug customer told investigators he bought 2 to 3 kilograms of cocaine every 6 to 8 weeks for at least two years. The kilograms sold for about $40,000 each.

Drug agents seized about $440,000 in cash Juarez-Gonzalez was arrested last July.
